BMZ Evaluation
SDRS Somalia conducted a comprehensive evaluation of integrated health, nutrition, and protection programs in vulnerable communities across Somalia. This study focused on the effectiveness of combining health services with nutritional support and protection measures for women and children. The research highlighted the success of integrated service delivery in improving health outcomes, reducing malnutrition, and enhancing protection from violence and exploitation. Key recommendations from the evaluation are being used to strengthen future interventions.

Somalia Nutrition Action Plan (SNAP I)
Our team completed a detailed assessment of the Somalia Nutrition Action Plan (SNAP), focusing on its implementation and impact across various regions of the country. The evaluation examined the alignment of SNAP with global nutrition standards, its effectiveness in addressing malnutrition, and the role of local and international stakeholders. The findings revealed critical gaps in resources and coordination, leading to actionable recommendations for improving future nutrition strategies in Somalia.

IYCF Endline Survey Evaluation for Care International
SDRS Somalia successfully conducted an endline survey on Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) practices for Care International. This research provided crucial insights into the progress made in promoting optimal feeding practices among infants and young children in Somalia. The survey measured key indicators such as breastfeeding rates, dietary diversity, and maternal knowledge, contributing to policy recommendations that aim to enhance child nutrition and well-being in humanitarian settings.

REACTS-IN Baseline Survey for World Vision International
We completed a baseline survey for the REACTS-IN program under World Vision International, focusing on the resilience of communities to climate-induced shocks and food insecurity. The study assessed community-level coping mechanisms, food security status, and access to nutrition services in regions affected by drought and conflict. This baseline provided essential data that helped shape interventions aimed at building resilience and improving nutritional outcomes for vulnerable populations. achieved in the past
